Pipestone County Christmas Care Distribution Day

Pipestone Kiwanis Club, Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce, and Pipestone County Food Shelf are working together again this year with the help of many local donors to distribute new toys to Pipestone County children ages 12 years & younger whose families are facing financial hardship as well as holiday meal totes to individuals, families, and seniors in financial need. Distribution day is Saturday, December 13th for all pre-registered participants. Registration closed on December 8th.

Participant Requirements:

All recipients must be Pipestone County Residents.
Toys are for children 12 and under (only one parent/guardian should register each child, not both parents/guardians).
Parent or legal guardian must be present to pick up on distribution day - no substitutes.
Holiday Meal Tote - limit one per household.
Everyone must be pre-registered online (below) by Monday, December 8, 2025 or by calling the Chamber at 507-825-3316.

Donations:

Monetary donations (cash or check made payable to Pipestone Kiwanis Club) can be dropped off at the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce or mailed to Pipestone Kiwanis Club, P.O. c/o Pipestone Area Chamber, Box 8, Pipestone, MN 56164.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys, games, books, activity kits, and stuffed animals (for children ages 12 & under) may be dropped off at Christmas Care Boxes at numerous locations in November. December 8th was the deadline for toy donations. All donation boxes have been picked up around town.
Donations of new quilts, blankets, and throws may be dropped off at the Chamber in November.
We do NOT accept donations of food, clothing, shoes, coats, and winter outer apparel. Other community groups and organizations host holiday drives for these types of items. We encourage you to donate to these groups. Additionally, you can donate apparel year-round to the VIM Thrift Store downtown and food to the Pipestone County Food Shelf.
